The pairing was honored at Monday’s Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table Press Luncheon at Harry’s Plaza Cafe.

Meanwhile, Piccoletti spearheaded a Carpinteria offensive attack that put together a strong showing at the Buena Friendlies Tournament over the weekend.

Across three games, she scored 13 total goals, including four goals in a double-overtime 8-7 win over Beaumont and six goals in a 13-8 victory against Rio Mesa.

The boys honorable mentions were George Marin (Cate Soccer), Javi Elias (San Marcos Soccer), Cash Evers (San Marcos Soccer), Cole Dominguez (San Marcos Wrestling), Luke Zuffelato (Santa Barbara Basketball) and Charlie Sheldon (Laguna Blanca Basketball).
