Camargo and Ramirez will be honored at next Monday’s Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table Press Luncheon, as there is no luncheon this week due to Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

The Carpinteria Warriors picked up a pair of league victories last week, with Camargo playing a big role in each of them

In a 62-23 win over Fillmore, Camargo filled up the stat sheet with 17 points, 12 assists and seven rebounds. Then, she poured in 19 points and nine rebounds in a 54-36 win over Malibu.

On the pitch, Ramirez nailed the game-winning goal in a 1-0 rivalry win over previously undefeated Santa Barbara High last week.

After pressuring the Dons defense all night long, Ramirez found the back of the net in the 78th minute to propel the Royals to the victory.

The girls honorable mentions were Natasha Bender (San Marcos Basketball), Frankie Court (Dos Pueblos Water Polo), Megan Garner (Dos Pueblos Water Polo), Layla Szymczak (Santa Barbara Water Polo), Addie Sweeney (Santa Barbara Water Polo), Nalani Yim (Santa Barbara Water Polo), Lucy Haaland-Ford (San Marcos Water Polo) and Serenity Stanfield (San Marcos Water Polo).
