Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table Hosts Evening With The Athletes

This year’s Evening with the Athletes Event, presented by the Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table, will take place at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 8, at the Marjorie Luke Theater, 721 E. Cota St., in Santa Barbara Junior High School.

The Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table (SBART) is pleased to announce of the Athlete of the Year selections, special award winners, and scholarship recipients. With the support of event sponsor, The Lab, http://thelabsb.com/, and the ongoing support of SBART members, this event is free for all attendees.

The mission of the Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table is to recognize and support athletic participation as an important means of fostering discipline, teamwork, self-respect, personal responsibility, and camaraderie.

The Athletic Round Table provides a public forum for area athletic coaches and athletes; grants financial support to organizations, teams, and individuals to further their participation in sports; and publicly honors athletic performance, scholastic achievement, and exemplary ethical behavior.
