The duo of Harman and Ferries were honored at Monday’s Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table Press Luncheon at Harry’s Plaza Cafe.

Harman has become an offensive force for the Dons early in the Channel League season, and he had multiple high-kill matches last week.

After registering 14 kills in a 3-0 sweep of Oxnard, Harman stepped up and led Santa Barbara with 21 kills in a 3-1 win over crosstown rival San Marcos, maintaining the Dons’ spot atop the Channel League standings.

Ferries, meanwhile, was dominant in the circle for the Cardinals last week, picking up a pair of wins in her two starts.

In her first start, she allowed two runs over six innings while striking out eight batters. Then, she hurled a complete-game shutout against Carpinteria, allowing just two hits across seven innings.

The boys honorable mentions were Alexi Stegner (San Marcos Baseball), Mason Crang (San Marcos Baseball), Wyatt Silver (Dos Pueblos Volleyball), Chase Holdren (Santa Barbara Volleyball), Austin Downing (San Marcos Golf) and Teddy Vigna (Dos Pueblos Golf).

Meanwhile, the girls honorable mentions were Chelsea Hayes (Bishop Diego Softball), Georgia Wilson (Dos Pueblos Softball), Lucy Dessert (San Marcos Softball), Emma Foster (San Marcos Softball), Taylor Steelman (San Marcos Swim) and Sierra Tallman (San Marcos Swim).
