Simolon came up big for Bishop Diego in the fourth quarter of a 43-36 win against St. Bonaventure in a key Tri-Valley League game. She scored 10 of her 15 points in the quarter, including a three-point play late in the game four free throws.
“She was not going to let us lose,” said coach Jeff Burich.
The Cardinals’ win clinched a CIF playoff spot. They are 20-3 on the season and 4-1 in league. They play at 5-0 Foothill Tech on Thursday.
