Jerry Harwin Community Service Award

The Jerry Harwin Community Service Award recognizes individuals who give unselfishly of their time, energy, and resources to further athletics within the community. The award identifies and acknowledges community volunteers who provide opportunity to others through athletics.

The following are points to consider when selecting honorees.
• A volunteer (unpaid) coach, instructor, organizer, director, fundraiser, or promoter of a sport;
• The individual(s) must have ties to the greater Santa Barbara community;
• The individual(s) has/have been a major contributing factor to the success of a local sports organization and its participants;
• A volunteer who has clearly gone "above and beyond".
