Cate football’s Josh Butler and Bishop Diego basketball’s Jaymi Coronado led their teams to big victories last week en route to being named the Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table Athletes of the Week.

The duo will be honored at next Monday’s SBART Press Luncheon, as there is no luncheon this week due to Thanksgiving Break.
Butler was in the middle of the Rams’ offensive attack in the team’s CIF-SS Div. 2 8-man Football semifinal win over Calvary Baptist.
The senior totaled 121 all-purpose yards and scored a pair of touchdowns in the 46-14 victory, helping Cate punch its ticket to the CIF-SS Finals on Saturday against Lancaster Baptist.
Meanwhile, Coronado filled up the stat sheet by averaging 15 points, seven rebounds and six assists at Bishop Diego’s annual season-opening Cardinal Classic.
Coronado led the Cardinals to a 4-1 record on the week, including a 25-point performance in a win over Lompoc and 18 points in a rout of Santa Barbara High.
