Raisin was honored at Monday’s SBART Women in Sports Luncheon at Earl Warren Showgrounds while Ramirez will be recognized at next week’s SBART Press Luncheon at Harry’s.

The Royals captured yet another Channel League girls water polo championship last week, and Raisin powered her talented squad to a pair of big rivalry wins on their way to the title.

Meanwhile, Ramirez strung together a trio of strong performances as San Marcos has begun to gear up for CIF-SS postseason play.

After tallying one assist in a 1-1 draw with Ventura and one goal in a 2-1 victory over Dos Pueblos, Ramirez exploded for a hat trick and an assist in a 5-1 win over Buena to end a successful week.
