Santa Barbara High’s Blaise Snow and San Marcos’ Ava Carter were honored at Monday’s SBART Press Luncheon at Harry’s Plaza Cafe.

Snow continued a historic season for the Dons last weekend at the Mt. SAC Invitational, running a leg on the team’s 4×800 relay team that placed first in a competitive field.

Their time of 7:45.47 set a new program record and placed them second in the state of California and fourth in the nation this season.

On top of this, Snow came back and finished in third place in the individual 800-meter race with a mark of 1:54.34.

Meanwhile, Carter shined at the Santa Barbara County Championships in Lompoc over the weekend.

As an individual, she came out on top in both the 200-meter and the 400-meter races.

She followed that up by competing with the first-place 4×400 relay team and the 4×100 relay squad that claimed second place.
