Bishop Diego linebacker Matt Bribiesca and UCSB volleyball’s outside hitter Lindsey Ruddins have been named the Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table’s Athletes of the Week.

Ruddins moved up No. 2 on UCSB’s all-time kills list at the Colorado Buffs Invitational. She had 15 kills and hit .400 in a sweep of LIU Brooklyn and followed that with a 21-kill performance in a five-set win over Wyoming. That gave the senior 1,567 in her career.
