Carpinteria High School’s Erin Saito was recognized as the first Phil Womble Ethics in Sports award winner of the year on Monday.
Saito plays basketball, softball and tennis while remaining active in various student programs.
“Erin is a tremendous young lady,” explained Carpinteria High School teacher and basketball coach Dan Mercer. “She’s a great student-athlete. She’s a competitor and an outstanding teammate.”
