Athletes of the Week: Sam Kwock of Bishop Diego football and Isabella Doub of Santa Barbara High golf are the honorees.
Kwock had 189 all-purpose yards in a 33-14 win over Mission Prep. He returned the opening kickoff 82 yards for a touchdown, recovered a pooch kickoff that set up a touchdown and had two rushes for 45 yards.
In two match wins over Pacifica, Doub fired a 1-under par 34, with birdies on two par-5s, at River Ridge Golf Course and shot a 40 to lead her team at Montecito CC.
