SPECIAL OLYMPICS ATHLETE OF THE MONTH: Johann Salgado
Salgado is a 2008 graduate of Santa Barbara High and a current student at SBCC, practicing to be a chef. He holds a job at Taqueria de Colmena on Milpas Street and is a standout player on his soccer team. He has earned a gold and silver medal in competition this year, and his coaches say he brings an incredible passion to the game as both a goalie and a center midfielder.
