Daniels led the Chargers to their lowest round of the season on Thursday by turning in an amazing round of 7-under par at Glen Annie. The day’s medalist hadn’t been under par yet this season but did so easily with a bogey-free round that included seven birdies.
KRISTA COBB, UCSB SOFTBALL
Cobb picked up two victories over the weekend in a Big West series with UC Davis. Cobb, now 18-8 on the season, set the single-season softball record for wins as a freshman with her 17th and tied the overall wins record on Sunday with her ninth shutout of the season.
