NICK BERN, CATE SCHOOL
Nick Bern of Cate School earned Athlete of the Week honors two years ago after he held the powerhouse Dunn boys soccer team to a season-low one goal. Soccer coach Dave Mochel called Bern the best high school goalie he’s ever seen. Bern also is a standout track athlete. Bern carries a 4.185 GPA with a slate of course including AP Statistics, AP Calculus, AP Physics B, AP Physics C and English Literature. He participates in Mock Trial and is a Boy Scout among many other things. He also volunteers for the Special Olympics..
