Vickers tallied off-the-chart statistics at the San Luis Obispo Tournament last week. The senior shortstop crushed two grand slams, scored eight runs and hit for a .625 average in four Charger victories. His on-base percentage was even better at .733 and his slugging percentage was a stratospheric 1.380.
HANNAH HARRIS, DOS PUEBLOS SOFTBALL
Harris pitched the Chargers to a much needed 4-0 Channel League victory over Ventura on Friday, as the freshman exhibited the composure of a senior while pitching out of several bases-loaded jams. Harris maintained the shut out even when faced with two different bases-loaded-and-no-out situations.
