Ristig, a sophomore, won the 200-meter race by .001 seconds while also taking the 400 and anchoring both winning relay teams as the Charger girls track squad beat San Marcos for the first time in five years.

Scarvelis, a sophomore, broke Dos Pueblos’ 35-year-old school discus record at the Camarillo Invitational with a toss of 157 feet, 5 inches.
