LAUREN PEDERSON – UCSB BASKETBALL
Pederson finished off her first-team All-Big West Conference season by leading the Gauchos to a regular season conference championship with a 15-1 record. She scored a career-high 28 points in a win over UC Riverside to help UCSB clinch the top seed in the Big West Tournament.
JAMES NUNNALLY – UCSB BASKETBALL
The freshman led the Gauchos in scoring in both of their final two regular season victories, with 15- and 20-point performances. Nunnally’s buzzer-beating 3-point basket gave UCSB a thrilling 76-75 win over Long Beach State on Saturday, earning the Gauchos a first-round by in the Big West Tournament.
